"It is finished"
As He said, so it was

He was gone

The body was carried away
buried like any other
buried with their hopes
in a borrowed space
with a boulder seal
to keep faith at bay

But the third day
dawned

First thing in the morning
prepared for mourning
the women came
and found no body.
They found Him.
Alive
Whole
Restored
Victorious

The stone lock had shattered
with the force of his glory
All that mattered was
telling this story
to followers
in disbelief
desperate to believe
they ran

Arriving breathless
they saw the emptiness of death
and Him standing deathless
hands spread
this
God and Man fixed
the spanning ditch
between man and God

He removed it forever
And the celebrations, the rejoicing?
It is just beginning
